Warranty,
in plain words.
Up to 3 years on the lithium battery, a free extended year when you register — and every condition spelled out honestly, so there are no surprises later.
What's covered, for how long.
Every GOEEN scooter is covered against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, component by component, from the date of retail purchase from an authorised dealer.
Lithium Battery
or 36,000 km — whichever occurs earlier. Includes 2 yrs standard + 1 yr service warranty.
Motor
Controller
Chassis
Charger
Lead-Acid Battery
Bulging/swelling covered only up to 6 months from invoice.
Tyre
Coverage begins on your retail purchase date, or the GOEEN invoice date plus the grace period below — whichever occurs earlier. No claims are entertained beyond the grace period.
Batteries, chargers and tyres are covered under their respective manufacturer's warranty. GOEEN acts as a facilitator between the dealer and the manufacturer for such claims.
The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser, only for personal use, and only when the vehicle is purchased from an authorised GOEEN dealership.
Extended warranty.
Free +1 year
Included- Register on the official GOEEN website within 90 days of purchase — late registrations are invalid.
- Complete every scheduled service on time, as per the service schedule.
- No breach of any warranty term.
Paid +1 or +2 years
OptionalExtend protection beyond the standard and free extended cover by one or two further years — purchased through your authorised dealer or the GOEEN warranty portal.
Repair and replacement costs under extended warranty are fully borne by GOEEN; transportation and handling are borne by the customer.
Valid only with a GOEEN-approved battery and charger. Using any third-party battery or charger disqualifies the vehicle from extended cover — standard warranty terms then apply.
What voids it.
Read this once — it saves arguments later. Component by component, these are the conditions under which warranty cover lapses.
- Carrying more than the permissible load (150 kg)
- Stunts, competitions or abusive riding
- Repairs or spare parts from non-authorised sources
- Tampering, misuse or negligence causing damage
- Electrical components tampered or seals broken
- Non-approved accessories fitted from the local market
- Modification or alteration for non-personal use
- Damage from flooding, fire, falling objects or accidents
- Batteries other than those supplied by the company
- Non-recommended MCB or non-genuine parts (voids the complete vehicle warranty)
- Resale / ownership transfer to another customer
- Purchase from a non-authorised dealership
Making a claim.
Report to your dealer
Every claim starts with your authorised GOEEN dealer — GOEEN does not entertain complaints directly from end customers.
Dealer verifies
The dealer inspects and verifies the complaint. Only verified complaints move forward.
GOEEN locks & resolves
Once verified, GOEEN locks the complaint and processes repair or replacement. Keep your stamped Service Book or Warranty Certificate ready — it's mandatory for any claim.
Repairs under warranty are always free — parts and labour are 100% on GOEEN. Transportation of warranty products splits by age of the vehicle.
GOEEN's maximum liability is limited to repair or replacement of covered parts. Fire incidents arising from external or uncontrollable causes — faulty wiring, improper earthing, water ingress, unauthorised modification, non-approved chargers — are not covered. This policy is governed by the laws of India with exclusive jurisdiction at Hooghly, West Bengal, and may be amended by GOEEN without prior notice.
